Kiara Tanta-Quidgeon

Kiara Tanta-Quidgeon is a Mohegan early-career researcher, writer, and public health professional committed to centering the voices of Indigenous Peoples and other historically underserved communities in the pursuit of health equity and climate resilience. Kiara is an alumna of Columbia University (MPH ‘24) and Quinnipiac University (BSc ‘22). At Quinnipiac, she established and led the QU Indigenous Student Union and currently serves as an Alumni Advisor for the organization. Kiara is also a United National Indian Tribal Youth (UNITY) 25 Under 25 Award Honoree who has been invited to represent Indigenous youth at the White House on multiple occasions. Additionally, Kiara is the Founder of the Sunrise Healing Community, a semi-retired figure skater, an avid reader, and an aspiring novelist.
